Ah spring. The time of year when we shake off the winter doldrums and turn our attention to our homes and gardens. For our cover builder, Pace Homebuilders, crafting homes of enduring beauty that combine lasting quality, the latest technology and environmental sensitivity is simply second nature.
It was travel to Europe that fueled Clyde Clem III’s love of architecture and drove the retired pilot to found custom home building company Cornerstone Craftsmen, Inc., while lessons learned from renovation work spurred Bill Bartlett’s Home Rebuilders to take a unique approach to building and remodeling.
While spring motivates us to take a second look at our homes, it’s our gardens and outdoor living spaces that receive the most scrutiny this time of year. In this issue, we talked with some of the area’s leading firms to get the inside dirt on backyard playsets, outdoor kitchens and fireplaces, comfortable and stylish outdoor furnishings and the finishing touches like pottery that bring it all together.
This season is also the time for new additions, and we at Today’s Custom Home are welcoming our new staff member. Andrea Martin who has joined us as Associate Market Art Director. Our growth has spurred a move to a new office at 211 Perimeter Center Parkway, Suite 950, Atlanta, GA 30346.
